A Cold Nip In The Air

Winter seems to have taken a little longer to reach us this year, but today it has finally arrived. With snow due this week and temperatures plunging to possibly minus 11, now is the time to stock up on your winter fuel to ensure you stay warm.

This winter we have new batch of English air dried timber. We processed this ourselves in the spring and summer. Dried naturally outside in the glorious sunshine. We buy this timber locally, so the carbon footprint on the English air dried timber is lower than on our kiln dried products. It is all hardwood comprising of a mixture of oak, ash, birch, beech, and sycamore. We are also offering 3 free bags of kindling with this product too. Our English timber has also been tested by Woodsure, and has passed with the average moisture content being 12.75%. If you haven’t tried it now is the perfect time to do so.

There are only 25 delivery days left before we close for Christmas, so be sure not to miss out!
