ALDER is a HARDWOOD and is not as dense as Ash, Oak or Hornbeam with similar burning characteristics to Birch. HARDWOOD LOGS WHICH ARE KILN DRIED TO A VERY LOW MOISTURE CONTENT

Kiln Dried Logs burn really well and nice and hot and it's a great option for smaller stoves as they lights very quickly generating heat almost immediately and they have a high calorific value.

We fill our Barrow Bags with Kiln Dried Alder Hardwood from our own Crates

PLEASE NOTE BY RESTRICTED ACCESS WE MEAN INDIVIDUALLY THEY FIT THROUGH NARROW ACCESS - THEY CAN REALLY ONLY BE MOVED AFTER DELIVERY ON A SACK BARROW OR TWO VERY STRONG PEOPLE CAN PULL THEM BUT THEY ARE DELIVERED ON A PALLET & DRIVERS ARE NOT ABLE TO INDIVIDUALLY MOVE THEM FOR YOU

All of the logs are 100% Kiln Dried Hardwood with an average of less than 20% moisture and suitable for most wood burning stoves.

Our Kiln Dried Logs should fit most wood burning stoves and the barrow bag gives you logs which are all a maximum of 25cms in length and in widths from 6-15cms

Please be patient with our smaller DPD deliveries - the UK delivery network has been overwhelmed leading to delivery delays. These factors are outside of our control and we are shipping out on time but can not be responsible for delays nor can we refund delivery costs if items are later than expected. 

Order by 3.00pm For Dispatch TODAY (Mon - Fri)

All orders placed by 2.45pm will be dispatched that day Mon-Fri. Any orders placed after 2.45.00pm will be dispatched the following working day.  If you order over the weekend your order will be dispatched on Monday NEED IT QUICKER ? WE CAN DELIVER NEXT DAY - Please note that Next Day, AM delivery, PM delivery and Saturday delivery options are also available as an optional extra at checkout. Small DELIVERED PACKAGES are sent with DPD Courier

Delivery time is between 8.30am to 6pm but you can also specify the following. 

Preferred Delivery Day - Select Your Preferred Day (at least 2 days in advance excludes weekends)

AM Delivery (8am-12pm) For £15 (plus or minus 30mins as deliveries can never be that precise) 

PM Delivery (12pm-6pm ) For £15 (plus or minus 30mins as deliveries can never be that precise) 

Next Working Day Delivery for £20 (Order By 2.45pm for next day) 

Saturday Delivery For £60 Plus Regional Surcharge if applicable

AM, PM, Next Day & Saturday Deliveries will also incur any postcode surcharges

We don't deliver FREE  (but we do deliver) to Northern Scotland, Aberdeen, Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, The Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, there is a delivery surcharge at checkout, it will be there for YOU TO TICK & SELECT the surcharge on DELIVERY Option page (this surcharge is based on single units ONLY).

Our Kiln Dried logs will be delivered by National Pallet Courier Pallet Track or Palletforce and your logs will be protected & wrapped in a clear protective pallet wrap on a pallet. (Crates come on their own pallet base) Smaller packages delivered with DPD
